1. Your Data is Yours

We believe financial data is absolutely sacred. Aurin processes everything with military-grade, bank-level encryption. We process, we learn, and we secure. We never sell your data, and you can delete everything with a single tap.

2. Data Collection

We only collect the minimum amount of data required to provide our AI coaching services. This includes transaction metadata, budget goals, and direct interactions with our chat interface. We do not store plain-text credentials.

3. Third-Party Sharing

Aurin operates under a strict Zero Sale policy. We do not share, sell, or monetize your personal or financial data with advertisers or external data brokers under any circumstances.

4. SMS Auto-Tracking (Android)

On Android, Aurin offers an optional auto-tracking feature that, with your explicit permission, reads incoming SMS messages to detect bank and financial transactions. Aurin requests only the SMS-receive permission (RECEIVE_SMS); it never reads your existing SMS inbox and never sends messages. Only messages containing keywords you define are processed. When a message matches, it is sent over an encrypted connection to our servers and processed once — including by a third-party AI service acting as our processor — to extract only the transaction amount and merchant. We do not retain the full message text after parsing; only the resulting expense is stored, encrypted, in your account. This data is used solely to log your expenses and is never sold or used for advertising. You can turn auto-tracking off at any time in the app, which immediately stops all SMS processing.
