Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Aurin (“the app”, “the service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Aurin provides personal finance tools, including expense tracking, budgeting, bill splitting, and related features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws when using the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service—for example by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfere with operation, scrape or overload systems, or use the service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
Not financial or legal advice
Aurin is a tool for organizing your information. It is not financial, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or fifty dollars (USD), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence where required by consumer protection rules; otherwise, disputes are subject to the laws of the jurisdiction we designate in future updates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
